Despite the odd compilation or two or the recent 'Anthology' releases, I wasn't a member of the buying public when there actually was a NEW Beatles record. It was all out there by the time I got to it. And I chipped away...one LP at a time and largely out of sequence which gives me a broad appreciation for their career--from the Cavern to the Rooftop. The latter era informs today's bootleg 'The Auction Tapes' which are 'Let it Be' and subsequently 'Abby Road' rehearsals.
