Here at THE VINYL DISTRICTwe're good consumers. All Mp3's are posted to promote and give exposure to the music and are linked for a limited time. Please download to preview, then head promptly to your local vinyl vendor (or - OK, CD store too) and fork over your hard earned cash. You'll appreciate the piece of mind.

It's nearly 11 p.m. here in the Midwest at the end of a long day. Let's see what evening comfort we can find:
1. "DiscoFunk Medley No. 1," a nine-minute-plus edit of disco bits and pieces by Edgardo (aka DJ Bapu of Argentina), posted last year at a board I frequent. Maybe too much at one time, eh?
2. "Red Staggerwing" by Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris from "All The Roadrunning," 2006. Nice vocals on a country-ish piece of work - with fiddles, even!
3. "Dirty Old Man" by Delaney & Bonnie from the "Home" sessions, 1968. The folks at Stax backing Bonnnie Bramlett? Gritty and sublime!
4. "Dink's Song" by Bob Dylan, recorded in Minneapolis, Dec. 22, 1961, from the "No Direction Home" soundtrack. Bobby during his Dinkytown days: A genius in the making.
5. "All Good Things Fade Away" by Pat Green from "Wave On Wave," 2003. A country weeper from a Texas trouper.
Got two of 'em with fiddle in there, which is kind of cool.
"Cripple Crow", Devendra Banhart "Flower Gardens", Chad Vangaalen "Stuck Inside of Mobile With The Memphhis Blues Again", Bob Dylan "Bratislava", Beirut "Flowers In The Window", Travis
