TVD's Ten Weeks of Record Store Day Vinyl Giveaways - Week 10

Where does the time go? It seems as if it were just yesterday—amidst the sky high drifts from Blizzard #2 of the 2009-2010 Winter season—when we launched the first in our series of Record Store Day 2010 Giveaways.

Since then, Spring has sprung and we're at the culmination of our 10 weeks and need I remind you that Record Store Day is, uh...this weekend?

We're planning on going out with a bit of a bang in regard to our giveaways this week - of which we have quite a few (as well as some RSD exclusives to toss at ya.) But first up for the week, our friends at Friday Music have compiled a reissue set to truly have you asking - where does the time go?

One lucky winner will receive all four of the 180 gram reissues below: Hall and Oates' 'Abandoned Luncheonette,' The Doobie Brothers' 'Minute By Minute,' Jeff Beck's 'Blow By Blow,' and Carly Simon's 'No Secrets.'

TVD Time Machine, indeed.

The rules can't be any simpler for our last RSD2010 Giveaway. All you need to do to enter to win is to leave a comment in the comments section to this giveaway letting us know why you deserve to win this week's vinyl.

Be creative, funny, incisive—whatever it takes to grab our attention to deem you the winner. Most important however is to leave us a contact email address! You can be brilliant as hell, but if we can't track ya' down, you're out of the running.

All winners will all be notified on Monday, 4/19!

I am super excited for Record Store Day! I will be hitting 3 different record stores around town Saturday, because it is the greatest day of the year! This would just be the icing on the cake, buying a lot of new music Saturday and then receiving four more awesome albums soon after! I couldn't ask for a better Record Week!

Well, it's obvious that I deserve those records because I decided to do some sunbathing on the pavement today and everyone looked at me as if I were completely daft.

Cuz if you can't afford a yacht and you'd rather not smoke a rock, there's only one way to reach perfection.... It rhymes with Rick Ronald, and it sounds like a million men's manhoods ...

How GREAT it would be if the federal government could follow up on the moment they created by actually caring for the people.
President Obama's work schedule: Step 1: Pass healthcare - check... Step 2: Make Record Store Day a federal holiday!
Let's face it: Record Store Day should really be moved into the pantheon of federally recognized holidays. Music makes people happy. It promotes healthy relationships, helps people get busy/make out, down a few drinks, make new and interesting friends and forget how they are getting screwed the rest of the time. Additionally, Record Store Day should be granted as a day off for all employees, given either on the preceding Friday or even better, the next Monday. Why not give the people what they want and what they need: a day off to sit back, listen to the music that they acquired over the weekend and unwind!
This public service announcement was brought to you by your friend and fellow LP lover, Jeffrey Crawford. How about some records for the man?

I'd like to own these records because it is my birthday on the 17th of April and it would be a perfect birthday present since I own 993 records (if you don't believe me check this link http://rateyourmusic.com/~jonnyrevolution).

The vinyl revolution is just beginning....just wait until there is an app on the iPhone that rips vinyl to your iPhone for playback.

No Secrets would be such a great gift for Mom. I completely roached her vinyl copy when I was a tot. I'll keep the rest.
