It's The Watson Twins' Vinyl District Vinyl Giveaway!

The Watson Twins' Vinyl District blog takeover simply wouldn't be complete without a chance to win the brand new 'Talking To You, Talking To Me' on vinyl—the LP sliding out of the sleeve over there to the right. And being the completists that we are, Leigh and Chandra have given us a copy to award one reader of this blog.

As we mentioned yesterday, the rules for our vinyl giveaways can't be any simpler: all you need to do to enter to win is to leave a comment in the comments section of the giveaway letting us know why you deserve to win the LP.

Be creative, funny, incisive—whatever it takes to grab our attention to deem you the winner. Most important however is to leave us a contact email address! You can be brilliant as hell, but if we can't track ya' down, you're out of the running. Winners will be notified on Friday!

I dont have a witty reason why I should win except I love getting Vinyl. Its just a awesome thing to collect and these ladies sound really awesome!

I don't know what's more beautiful-- my 5'3" self feeling like a midget next to them or being able open the sleeve and pull out a vinyl record with their name on it.

I haven't used my turntable in a while mostly because i've been waiting to listen to something exceptionally good on it...The Watson Twins are it.

One of the few groups that make you say, "They're meant to be heard on vinyl."

Thanks for dropping by the blog and 'guesting' -- especially over the current winter snow antics... a terrific diversion from shoveling the snow outside! Look forward to hearing the whole album on my new turntable! (john.rickards@gmail.com)

Why should I win this lovely album on Vinyl? Well, because I'm currently writing my thesis on Gender in Science Fiction Films of the 1950s and Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone and I really like being distracted by great albums. My thesis advisor wouldn't be so happy about it, but I will. Come on, with a thesis in such a niche market, it isn't like I'll be able to get a job that allows me to buy every album I want, help a girl out! :)

I deserve to win this album because I was the only one to comment on their takeover yesterday.

I should win the album because I would've had a mad crush on them if we'd gone to High School and wouldn't have had the guts to say anything... but now that I'm a "grown-up" I'd at least be able to tell them how great their music is!

I'm not sure if joining millions of others in the unemployment line makes me more worthy to win but I did purchase both FIRE SONGS & RABBIT FUR COAT when I had a job. It is highly unlikely that I'll have the extra cash to purchase the new LP. Did I mention I love vinyl? -PJ @ greenlantern23@juno.com

I'd give this vinyl to my 15 year old son. We saw the Watson Twins in Seattle in October with JR. There were so many of us standing for the whole concert. My son finally got too hot so went over and stood by Chandra and Leigh, they were at the store. He was having so much fun flirting with two beautiful sisters! It was great! We both adore you two. TTY, TTM is incredible. When are you coming back to Seattle??
