Actually... you're wrong. Thin Lizzy's "Dancing in the Moonlight" was covered by the Smashing Pumpkins.
Two things, Grant:
I didn't mean to imply that these tracks were never covered - they may have been, but warrant fresh coverage.
And for some reason, I don't acknowledge the Smashing Pumpkins.

Gotcha. I misunderstood the idea behind the posts. And to be honest, I didn't know about the Smashing Pumpkins cover until I Googled "Dancing in the Moonlight." I was originally thinking that this song and the one done by Toploader were the same song.
