okay, here goes

1--Heartless Bastards, Piano Song
2--Spiritualized, Broken Heart
3--Soundgarden, Superunknown
4--Muse, Take a Bow
5--Goldfrapp, Lovely Head

Every time I hear Heartless Bastards I am reminded of the their flaccid show at Rock and Roll Hotel and I get irritated.

Opposite happens with Soundgarden, I saw them in 1994 at Bender Arena and they fucking killed it in true metal style.

Not sure where I stand on Muse, sometimes they OD on bombast.

Well, Friday afternoon here in the Midwest, and we get:

"Waltz of the Tennis Players" by Fraser & DeBolt With Ian Guenther (1970)

"Whatever Happened" by the Bliss Band (1978)

"Last Stage Blues" by the Mississippi Sheiks (1930)

"Angel Band" by the Stanley Brothers (1955)

"Oh Papa" by Odetta (2000)

Off we go....

"Hurricane", Bob Dylan
"Bookends", Simon and Garfunkel
"Watch Out For Me Ronnie", Yo La Tengo
"Visions of Johanna", Bob Dylan
"Tell Me In The Morning", Cold War Kids

Not sure what to say. The 2 Dylan songs are very good, though not my favorites. I am not really that familiar w/ the YLT song.

I liked the Cold War kids album when I first bought it, though I soured on it pretty quickly. It's okay.
