Can I just say, I like that you have Seona Dancing on your iPod. Do you also have 'Freelove Freeway' by David Brent? If not, will share....

I like that song! Had been looking fir it for ages...

I don't know 'Freelove Freeway' actually. Enlighten?

Well, the team are on a 'training day' - you know, to improve motivation and so on. It all goes horribly wrong and the trainer begins to lose control...but luckily David has his guitar to hand (he used to be in a band you see...).

Got here on Saturday morning this week, and here's what we get:

"Hey Jude" by Elvis Presley, outtake from the Memphis Sessions, 1969. (Not bad, but not great, either.)

"Hush" by Love Affair, 1968. ("Thought I heard her callin' my name."

"Two Hangmen" by Mason Proffit, 1969. (Classic late-night FM radio track!)

"Painted Ladies" by Ian Thomas, 1973. (A tale of dissolution and woe.)

"Tell Me Why" by the Beatles, 1964. (There's a place where it's forever 1964, I think.)

Your diversity and deep catalog never fails to impress, Ray. Thanks for chiming in each week!

That's funny. We just listened to XTC's mighty Black Sea on the way into work today. But, Drums and Wires is my favorite album cover of theirs and one of the greats ever imho. Jeez it looks like crap though in the 5" x 5" cd cover...

Damn, I'm late to this. Okay, here's five that pop up on shuffle:

shuffle shuffle shuffle STOP

1--LSF, Kasabian
2--Like Little Willie John, Mark Lanegan
3--A Hard Day's Night, The Beatles
4--Talk Talk, Music Machine
5--Stretch Out and Wait, The Smiths

Whew, made through that one without my Brandy/Monica track showing up, that's my secret shame.

Here we go...

1. Worried Blues, Bob Dylan
2. I've Been Tired, The Pixies
3. The Song Is You, Charlie Parker
4. Good Girl, carrots, Panda Bear
5. Lady Stardust, David Bowie

Not bad, except for the jazz. Also, not the best Pixies song but respectable. I still don't think I like that Panda Bear album as much as everyone else does.
