Here at TVD it's well known that we love the 70's, but it seems you guys REALLY love the '70's if the web tracking is any indication. Those two weeks of posts are still the highest viewed pages for any tracking period, but alas -- those links have all expired.

But fear thee not! As a little gift for the holidays, we've compiled all the tracks from those two weeks of posts into three handy (but large!) links below. So set those PCs to download while you're out clogging the malls exchanging gifts and upon your arrival home -- a nice bit o' nostalgia awaits.

Thanks for reading folks and Happy Holidays!

Let me get this straight.

TVD/Jon "loves the 70s" yet he calls the 90s "f'n awful" on a comment thread at Stereogum.

Cheesy disco jingles, cocaine, makeup and bad haircuts are not the ingredients for making a great decade.

Give it up, Boomers. The eight-track aint coming back.

Riight.

Lemme see - I was a child in the '70's and those memories are colored with nostalgia. (From childhood.)

The 90's, save for a number of bands that I needn't list, sucked. (Viewed as an adult.)

Except for Britpop which was the highlight -- nothing happened. And sure, well Nirvana - ok. But what came after Nirvana BLEW. I'd sooner have no Nirvana than be stuck with the utter shite that lingers in their wake.

Enjoy your Daughtry CD.
