To clarify (after a comment received yesterday) this week's theme really isn't about the bands who went over the top with the hair or makeup or stage persona...but more of a nod to that era in general when much of the aforementioned congealed into 'New Wave' and often 'Post Punk.' Random flashback - I once heard "Golden Brown" in a McDonalds in Camp Hill, PA in the mid-80s. I'm not sure why, but I've never forgotten that.
