I agree with you both. I have long felt that Rubber Soul and Revolver were tied in first place as my favorite Beatles albums. But I just finished the Bob Spitz bio and felt compelled to get MMT back in rotation. It is brilliant in its energy. Almost every song on the playlist is iconic and sets the standard for pop music. It also made me realize that I am a Paul-guy.

I still like Revolver best but MMT is a close second. I like these Beatles albums at the height of their competition with the Beach Boys (65'-69'). Proof that competition not only breeds better household products and automobiles, but music too! Still I hate to use words like "competition" to describe such great art...but I digress.
