Here at THE VINYL DISTRICTwe're good consumers. All Mp3's are posted to promote and give exposure to the music and are linked for a limited time. Please download to preview, then head promptly to your local vinyl vendor (or - OK, CD store too) and fork over your hard earned cash. You'll appreciate the piece of mind.

1. "Watching The River Flow" by Bob Dylan, Columbia single 45409, 1971. Great single, produced by Leon Russell!
2. "Little Boy Smiling" by October Country from "October Country," 1968. Sunshiney pop!
3. "A Girl In France" by African Music Machine, Soul Power single 111, 1973. A little like Earth, Wind & Fire, and I have no idea where I found this!
4. "Somebody Loan Me A Dime" by Fenton Robinson, recorded in Nashville, 1970. The author of the song that Boz Scaggs and Duane Allman made famous takes another run at it.
5. "Always Something There To Remind Me" by Sandie Shaw, Pye single 15704 (UK). Great song in its original version, I think.

You know it was China Crisis, linked from the hype machine that made me find this place, and I LOVE YOU!
I have since picked up an ABC record and a Cars album because of this site. Be proud. You rock.
