Probably because while it's obviously rooted in a lot of what made the Jam so great, it also pointed toward the new directions to be taken in Style Council. It's the crossroads album.<BR/><BR/>Gotta say, I'm pretty jealous of anyone old enough to have been able to follow either the Jam OR the Style Council during their respective runs. Discovering it all in retrospect was a fun and truly revelatory experience for me, but I can't imagine the excitement of buying a new Jam record in a shop.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
