There's nothing spiritual or hootie-fruity about it: the packaging looks better, the music sounds better, and the "inconvenience" of flipping the record keeps you physically involved and paying attention..... mp3s are great for easing the pain of a long train ride or somethin', but vinyl will always be the best way to eat one's tunes.
